In our “Autumn Escapes” issue we travel to Ioannina, set in the heart of one of the most enchanting regions of Greece. This lovely small city curves around the lake, taking full advantage of its placement, with a broad lakeside promenade, shaded by great plane trees. Another spectacular destination that we are profoundly fond of is Pelion. In Autumn, the mountain villages of Pelion are at their most magical. Bathed in the golden light with the colors of the season turning their leaves, this is a slice of Greece that fewer visitors know. Those who seek it out will be rewarded with relative solitude.
